Just as it has in previous years, the event will take place on the Rutgers boardwalk before the game, with Legrand leading the pregame parade.

Registration to walk in the parade with LeGrand can be done online for $52, which includes a t-shirt, a ticket to the game versus Howard, an invitation to walk in the pregame parade with LeGrand, and access to an exclusive pregame tailgate. After going through an intense recovery period, LeGrand launched Team LeGrand, a fundraising arm of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, to help individuals living with spinal cord injuries and their families. The 2025 edition had over 1,000 people participate in the walk to believe, and it raised over $90,000.

Those who cannot attend the game are encouraged to donate on the foundation’s website. Rutgers has dominated Howard in the six times the two teams squared off against one another, with the Scarlet Knights holding a perfect 6-0 record over the Bison.
