It puts Tumwater (10-6, 7-5 EvCo) still in position to overtake the Bobcats for second in the league, but it would require a win out plus them lose out. It took the lead in the third on a two-out, two-run homer from Chloe Johnson after a hit by pitch kept the inning going. Consecutive RBI singles from Megan Barrett and Kiera Rich made it a three-run game in the fifth, but Aberdeen pieced together its own rally in the seventh with back-to-back doubles and a single that brought the go-ahead run to the plate.

T-Birds ace Sarah Stevens induced a line out to Barrett to seal the win. The southpaw struck out five to earn the win while Sophie Skillman and Brielle Womach each had two hits. Tumwater will look to make it three wins in a row when it takes on Montesano on Saturday.
