Highlights — Sandridge 2-3, HR, 2 RBI, R, SB; Zandell 2-3, 2B, RBI, 2 R; Auman 0-2, RBI, 2 R, HBP, SB The Loggers jumped out of the gates strong and piled on the runs on Friday afternoon to blow by the Warriors 13-3 in five innings at home.
It's their first victory over a Class 1A program this season. Kaiyah Sandridge capped a five-run bottom of the first with a two-run home run to right field. Her shot came with two outs and the frame also featured RBI doubles from Braelynn Babb and Kate Zandell.
Onalaska (9-7) sent 10 batters to the plate in a six-run fourth. None of the runs came on hits, three of them crossed on groundouts. Zandell and Sandridge each had two hits while Babb worked around six hits in the circle to earn the win by going the distance.
Rochester (1-15) scored two in the top of the fifth on an Addi Morgan single while Charlie Culp roped a pair of doubles. The Warriors couldn't extend the game another half-inning, grounding into a fielder's choice and being induced into a pop up. Onalaska still has two C2BL games left in the regular season, starting with Mossyrock on Monday.
