The team held an optional morning skate at the Lenovo Center. Per voices in Raleigh, there was a good amount of players in attendance.
One of those skaters was Owen Tippett, who missed Friday’s practice in Voorhees for “maintenance” per Flyers head coach Rick Tocchet. During morning skate, many of the regular starters came off the ice, and Tippett remained out there for a long while after, per NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Jordan Hall. Wonder about Owen Tippett’s status tonight.
He’s still out here with the presumed scratches getting in extra skating. He was not made available after skate. So we’ll see.
