Right now, Donovan Mitchell is proving the haters right. Mitchell has been known as a guy who, despite incredible playoff scoring numbers, has never made a deep run. The Cleveland Cavaliers are facing a do-or-die Game 7 on Sunday against the Toronto Raptors .
And if they get the version of Mitchell they've gotten for the past four games, they might be in trouble. Mitchell didn't have a positive plus/minus in Game 3, or Game 4, or Game 5, or Game 6. The Cavs have been minus-35 combined across those four games with Mitchell on the floor.
It's simply not a rate that you can win with when the guy in question is supposed to be your best player.
