Philadelphia 76ers rookie VJ Edgecombe discusses his full development before Game 7 against the Boston Celtics.
BOSTON -- The Philadelphia 76ers have a fantastic chance to get the job done on Saturday when they pay a visit to the Boston Celtics for Game 7 of their Round 1 series. The Sixers trailed this series 3-1, but have rallied to force a winner-take-all Game 7 back at TD Garden. This is something of a full circle moment for rookie VJ Edgecombe who made his debut in Boston back on Oct.
22 and delivered a historic debut in a win over the Celtics. He had a huge performance in Game 2 of this series and is primed for a big Game 7 as he has a tendency of performing well in this building. "It’s crazy to think about it," Edgecombe added.
"First game was here. Now, we’re in the playoffs playing here, so like I said, I’ve been in this building a lot now and this is just my first year. I feel like I’ve been here a lot.
Boston’s a really good team so I know it’s gonna be a real competitive game. So, everything else is gonna be out the window. All previous times we’ve played here is out of the window.
