Browns' influx of talent at WR won't impact their 'bell cow'
Movement in the wide receiver room for the Browns will not impact Jerry Jeudy's position on the roster.
The Cleveland Browns have made it a point in this 2026 offseason that they need to address the wide receiver position. It was the focal point of the Browns' draft last week, but general manager Andrew Berry assured that no matter what they did, it would not impact the role that Jerry Jeudy would have on this roster. Jeudy is coming off a very challenging year in Cleveland .
It has been a tale of two players in Jeudy's time in Cleveland. In 2024, he thrived in an offense that was primarily run by Jameis Winston. Then, last year, every week felt disjointed between him and whoever was playing quarterback.
2024 was a career year for Jeudy as he finished with 90 catches for 1,229 yards and four touchdowns. Even without his 235-yard game against the Denver Broncos , he still had a really solid season for Cleveland and was a true number one option. Last year, it wasn't the case.
He finished with just 50 catches for 602 yards and two touchdowns on the year. Furthermore, he finished second in the league with 10 drops, trailing just Jameison Williams from Detroit. Last night, Browns GM Andrew Berry said the drafting of KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston have โzero impactโ on WR Jerry Jeudy.
