Steph Curry's sneaker free agency auction raised a staggering amount of money for charity.

One of the more fun storylines to follow throughout the Golden State Warriors' 2025-26 season was Stephen Curry's sneaker free agency campaign. After spending 12 years with Under Armour and developing the Curry Brand, Curry and his longtime partnership with Under Armour has come to an end. With Curry officially a sneaker-free agent, Curry pulled out his extensive shoe collection throughout the 2025-26 season.

In each city the Warriors visited on the road, Curry appeared to pull out a shoe that paid homage to a player or city from the team they were facing that night. Curry wore different iterations of Nike's Kobe Bryant signature shoes along with Adidas Anthony Edwards "AE" line. After wearing a flurry of different kicks throughout the season, Curry put his sneaker-free agency to a good cause.

The All-Star point guard listed his game-worn sneaker collection in an auction with Sotheby's. Curry's collection of shoes, listed individually at 81 total pairs, raised $1. 7 million, with all the funds benefitting Curry's Eat.
