Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool has been turning heads at the Green Bay Packers ' 2026 rookie minicamp, as his goals of making an NFL comeback have caught the attention of head coach Matt LaFleur. Speaking with reporters on Friday, LaFleur provided an update on Claypool, who was brought in for a tryout with Green Bay. "Well, I mean, you guys saw him, right?

" LaFleur said. "He's had great film out there. He's been productive, and he looks like he's in great shape.

His time with Pittsburgh was short-lived, however, as Claypool was traded to the Chicago Bears during the 2022 season in exchange for a draft pick that would eventually become elite lockdown cornerback Joey Porter Jr.
