RJ Barrett's game winner draws similarity to other iconic NBA shots

•Yahoo Sports

RJ Barrett put himself in the history books Friday night, drilling an iconic game-winner to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers and force Game 7.

Former Duke alum RJ Barrett did the unthinkable Friday night, sending the Toronto Raptors to Game 7 on an unbelievable bouncing three-pointer. Barrett knocked down the improbable shot with 1. 2 seconds remaining, propelling the Raptors to a 112-110 victory in overtime.

Following the shot, the NBA community was quick to make comparisons, comparing the shot to two iconic game-winners. The first and most recent was Tyrese Haliburton's game-tying shot to force overtime in Game 1 of last year's Eastern Conference Finals. WHAT A SHOT BY TYRESE HALIBURTON 🤯🤯🤯 https://t.

" In addition to Haliburton's unthinkable shot, Barrett's game-winner was also compared to Kawhi Leonard's, given that they both occurred in Toronto. 🚨 THE SHOT. THE BOUNCE.
