Christian Scott pitched much better for the Mets last night after a rough first outing . Prior to yesterday’s game, the Mets optioned Eric Wagaman back to Triple-A to make room on the major league roster for the recently claimed Andy Ibáñez. It is fair to say that the current state of the Mets is in large part the result of a number of moves from David Stearns that have not worked out .
