ESPN to show Steelers draft day drama from Cowboys point of view
ESPN is set to broadcast a behind-the-scenes look at the NFL draft and we might see the Steelers/Cowboys drama up close.
One of the biggest storylines of the 2026 NFL draft was the drama surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys. The Steelers were preparing to make their pick at No. 21 and while on the phone with USC wide receiver Makai Lemon, who they intended to pick, everything went sideways.
The Cowboys, while on the clock at No. 20, decided to make a quick trade with division rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles and they promptly snatched up Lemon a pick ahead of the Steelers. Now, with the announcement that the Cowboys will be one of the teams featured on ESPN's NFL draft special , The Pick Is In, we should have the opportunity to see how the entire situation went down from Dallas' perspective.
Despite missing on Lemon, the Steelers were able to snag offensive tackle Max Iheanachor as the next man up and he could be in line to start at one of the tackle positions as early as this season.
