UFC Perth Highlights! Salkilld Smashes Dariush, Punches Ticket To Top 15

(Photo by Ed Mulholland/Zuffa LLC) Quillan Salkilld earned himself a lightweight ranking earlier this morning (Sat. , May 2, 2026) at UFC Perth LIVE on Paramount+ from inside RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, stopping veteran contender Beneil Dariush with a smashing first-round TKO (punches).
Dariush almost played spoiler in the opening moments of the first round after landing a stiff jab and temporarily dropping Salkilld. The young Aussie recovered, though, only to be force fed multiple takedown attempts courtesy of Dariush. Salkilld displayed a solid takedown defense and eventually broke free.
Once that happened he was able to start finding success with his hands. During a wild exchange on the feet Salkilld caught Dariush with a powerful right hook. Dariush toppled to the canvas as Salkilld followed up with heavy ground-and-pound.
Once Dariush was left face first in the cage the referee jumped in to stop the fight. It was another sensational performance by Salkilld, who pushes his UFC win streak to five and now punches his ticket to the lightweight top 15.
