According to an update by Il Romanisti via TMW , the meeting between Ryan Friedkin and Gasperini is set to be held at the Fulvio Bernardini Sports Centre in Trigoria. The face-to-face conversation between the two club personalities will address numerous issues, ranging from deciding on the team’s transfer policy for the summer, Claudio Ranieri’s departure , to finding a new director of football.
The Giallorossi are currently sitting sixth in the Serie A standings with 61 points across the board, tied with 5th-placed Como, and just three away from the top four. With just four games to go this season, Roma are making one final push to reach for one of the Champions League spots, as that would be a huge boost to future transfer budgets and player retention. Addressing Claudio Ranieri’s departure Ryan Friedkin is expected to deal with the vacuum that will be left by senior advisor to the club Ranieri, who has been acting alongside coach Gasperini since the start of the campaign to drive the side’s tactics, man management and other decisions.
