After losing a member of the 2027 class a couple of days ago in 3-star defensive back Jalani Culpepper , the Arizona Wildcats received some good news late Friday evening. Braylen Ross , a 3-star wide receiver from Crean Lutheran High School in Southern California, announced his commitment to the Wildcats. Ross is a big kid, measuring in at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds.

He didn’t play last year due to circumstances, however, he transferred from Lincoln High School in San Diego to Crean Lutheran in Irvine. If that school’s name sounds familiar, it’s because that is the same school redshirt freshman linebacker Carter Jones prepped at and where his brother, major 2027 QB target Caden Jones , plays. Ross had a nice offer list, reporting 11 total offers.

He chose Arizona over Arizona State, California, Kansas State, Kentucky, Oregon State and TCU to name a few. He ranks as a 3-star in 247’s internal and Composite rankings. In the Composite, he comes in as the No.

1,173 player nationally, the No. 145 wide receiver and the 105th best player in California. Internally, 247Sports has Ross as the No.
