Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Cyrus Allen spoke with reporters at Friday's press conference during this weekend's rookie minicamp. He shares his belief that playing college football at multiple schools is an advantage going into his rookie season. "Most definitely.
I met a lot of great coaches (and) got a lot of great coaching from them guys," said Allen, "(I) played with a lot of good players and just taking a lot of knowledge of the game from different coaches and different players was tremendously good for me, so definitely. " The speedy receiver spent only last season at Cincinnati after spending one season at Texas A&M in 2024 and two seasons at Louisiana Tech from 2022 to 2023. Allen revealed that his process for learning new information since being drafted has been at camp so far.
"I'm swimming a little bit; I can't lie to you, but it's good. I'm learning everything, learning different positions (and) learning what everybody has," said Allen, "That's how I like to learn, so it will probably be a little harder for me, but it's good. I've been learning everything, and everything has been good.
" Allen appeared in 44 career college football games, recording 2,221 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns on 137 receptions. This article originally appeared on Chiefs Wire: Chiefs WR Cyrus Allen on the advantage of playing for multiple schools
