Nicknamed ‘The Dragon’, he went up against Axel Sola, a fellow European talent who was making just his second appearance in the promotion.

The pair put on an entertaining scrap for 15 minutes that ended with Jones taking a unanimous decision and extending his streak to three wins in a row. That’s a big boost for fighters trying to make their mark again.

But several months after his fight in London, Jones is still waiting for that bonus and took to social media to air his frustration. “These anti-money laundering checks are really making me wish I was laundering money,” Jones wrote on X. “Probably be easier to explain than my deposit hasn’t been paid by UFC yet.

” One fan replied: “Just be patient, UFC are struggling to make money these days. ” Jones played along with a joke: “Hard times all around. I’m gonna start selling feet pics soon.
