The 12-game losing skid still resides fresh in the minds of the players, and the fans around the world. But, if you were to look at who is contributing the most on this lackluster squad, the answer is an obvious one. The "Most Valuable Player" on the worst team in the league, according to Kerry Miller of Bleacher Report , is also the highest-paid player in all of baseball, Juan Soto.

Go figure. Soto has been dealing with a considerable injury this season, and has only suited up for 17 of the team's 32 games thus far. In that time, he made an impact that overreaches much of his teammates contributions and has made him look like a diamond in the rough.
