com! The build-up… I could have been starting the preview for our trip to Wolves, saying we were sitting 8th in the table, one point ahead of Chelsea and one behind 6th-placed Brighton, who occupy a position which currently qualifies for the Europa League. But our pre-match confidence in the Lads beating Forest disappeared in six minutes, just after the half-hour mark.
It goes to show, however, that fine line between huge optimism that could have created, against the prospect of avoiding three successive league defeats for the second time this season. The scale of defeat has invited many questions. Most have been regarding the defence and/or our defensive structure due to the fact we’ve shipped in nine in the last two games – a feat we reached in the eight fixtures before Villa and Forest.
