Augusta Arsenal Soccer Club expresses excitement for new partnership with development program
AUGUSTA, GA (WJBF)- Augusta Arsenal soccer club is gaining momentum with a brand-new partnership with Arsenal Football development, a global coaching and development program. The club is the longest-standing youth soccer organization in the CSRA, serving over 700 players. They’re now teaming up with the Arsenal Football Club connecting players to one of the world’s most respected player development models.
It brings enhanced coaching education, training, and development opportunities. Executive director Nick Edmond is excited about this new partnership, and how it’ll impact the sport. “Arsenal’s one of the top five biggest clubs in the world.
The excitement about being a part of that, getting kids excited about the game of soccer, and to play for life is the main goal and getting people active in the community,” Edmond said. “Of course, the World Cup is coming up, so some of these players will be playing in the World Cup. I really feel like we’re a part of the true Arsenal community.
