Brothers in the NFL: The rare club A.J. Terrell and Avieon Terrell joined

The NFL Draft delivered a rare moment in the second round when the Atlanta Falcons found themselves in a perfect position that changed the lives of A. J. Terrell and Avieon Terrell.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski called star cornerback A. J. Terrell to let him know the team would select his brother, Avieon Terrell.

Just two days into the draft, the Terrell brothers became teammates in Atlanta. The Terrell brothers join a long list of brothers who have shared the field as NFL teammates—some of whom even won Super Bowls together. MORE: Which 2026 NFL Draft picks are selling the most jerseys?

They first teamed up at UCF from 2013 to 2016. According to legend, Shaquill told programs he would only commit to a school that also offered his brother.
