No. 10 Florida State softball shuts out Boston College; Francik tosses another no hitter
Florida State softball opens their series with Boston College with another shut out run rule behind the arm of Jazzy Francik. Lineup SS – Isa Torres (JR) 3B – Jaysoni Beachum (JR) LF – Ashtyn Danley (JR) C – Anna Hinde (FR) RF – Bella Ruggiero (R FR) CF – Kennedy Harp (JR) DP – Shelby McKenzie (SO) 1B – Hayley Griggs (FR) 2B – Makenna Sturgis (FR) RHP – Jazzy Francik (SO) Recap 2nd Inning Jazzy Francik and BC’s Bailey Kendziorski both tossed a scoreless first inning, and Kendoiorski came back out for the second. Leading off, Bella Ruggiero reached on a single, then stealing second one out later.

With the lineup turned over, Isa Torres and Jaysoni Beachum both doubled to extend the lead.

The hit made it 7-0 for the Seminoles. In the bottom of the inning, Francik continued her outstanding outing, sitting the Eagles down in order. 6th Inning An error broke up Francik’s perfect game in the previous inning, but still had her no hitter remaining.
