Six days after the final round of the draft passed without him hearing his name called, Jacobs has now made his way to New England.

According to NFL insider Joseph Pasteris, the Patriots have agreed to terms with the 22-year-old. This means that the number of reported undrafted free agents signed by the club now stands at 12. Via the Pats Pulpit UDFA Tracker , they are as follows: RB Myles Montgomery (UCF) WR Nick DeGennaro (James Madison) WR Kyle Dixon (Culver-Stockton) WR Cameron Dorner (North Texas) WR Jimmy Kibble (Georgetown) TE Tanner Arkin (Illinois) OL JonDarius Morgan (UAB) OL Jacob Rizy (Harvard) DT David Blay (Miami) LB Khalil Jacobs (Missouri) CB Channing Canada (TCU) CB Kenneth Harris (Oklahoma State) The Patriots’ undrafted rookie class at this point in time is heavy on offensive players; eight of the 12 are playing on that side of the ball.

Among them are four wide receivers, which appears to be a fairly high number but needs to be viewed in the context of New England not picking any wideouts in the draft. In addition to the 12 reported UDFA signings above, the Patriots also invited nine free agents to participate in their rookie minicamp. The three-day event will kick off on Friday, May 8.

WR Logan Collier (North Alabama) WR Demarcus Lacey (Marshall) OT Eli Simonson (UC Davis) DT Korey Foreman (Fresno State) LB Jordan Kwiatkowski (Central Michigan) LB Declan Williams (Incarnate Word) CB Malcolm Greene (UMass) S Peter Manuma (Hawaii) P Mitch McCarthy (Indiana) With Jacobs added, the Patriots have two open spots available on their roster. None of the UDFA signings have yet been made official.
