Titans cut ex-Broncos running back and ex-Denver guard

The Titans cut a pair of former Broncos on Thursday.

The Tennessee Titans waived former Denver Broncos running back Blake Watson and guard Clay Webb on Tuesday to make room for their incoming undrafted free agents. Watson was waived with an injury designation. Watson (5-9, 195 pounds) originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Memphis with the Broncos in 2024.

He spent most of his rookie season on the practice squad, rushing four times for 10 yards and hauling in a 13-yard reception in two appearances in 2024. Last year, he rushed 18 times for 75 yards and hauled in 10 receptions for 50 yards during preseason. Watson was cut by the Broncos with an injury settlement last September.

He turned down interest from Denver's practice squad to join Tennessee's practice squad instead. Eight months later, he's now a free agent once again. Webb (6-3, 312 pounds) joined the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State in 2025.

After failing to make Denver's 53-man roster last summer, Webb joined the Titans ' practice squad. Entering his second season in the NFL, Webb will now seek a third team. Social : Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X !
