Australian national soccer team star Jackson Irvine has labeled the FIFA Peace Prize 'a mockery,' while also expressing deep concern for the LGBTQI+ community in America, with less than two months to go until the World Cup

In fact, FIFA’s Council was not even consulted prior to the announcement of the Peace Prize, as per The Athletic .
