David Benavidez seeks to conquer a third division

The two-division boxing champion looks to make it three when he faces Gilberto โZurdoโ Ramirez in Saturdayโs main event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Benavidez and Ramirez stepped to the scale Friday, with Benavidez registering at 196. 8 pounds and the champion Ramirez coming in at the cruiserweight title fight limit of 200 pounds. Watch the ceremonial weigh-ins below.
Ramirez (48-1) currently holds the WBA and WBO titles, which he successfully defended against Yuniel Dorticos this past June. Both belts are on the line when he steps into the ring with the Benavidez. The undefeated Benavidez (31-0) previously held titles in the super middleweight and light heavyweight divisions, with recent championship victories over Anthony Yarde, David Morrell, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Demetrius Andrade, and Caleb Plant.
