Three Kentucky Wildcats were invited to the NBA Draft Combine
The NBA Draft Combine is coming up and three Kentucky Wildcats were invited to participate in this year's event.
The 2026 NBA draft isn't far off, and this month's NBA Draft Combine will go a long way in helping determine which players will hear their names called. Aspiring draftees will get a chance to show off their skills, and try to convince teams they are worth selecting. Three Kentucky Wildcats will be in that group.
Guard Otega Oweh is the player who, perhaps, needs this event the most. Though he was a star at Kentucky, he may not be drafted. His game isn't typical of where the NBA is at these days.
He doesn't shoot threes particularly well, and relies on a lot of mid-range jumpers. However, he's a good defender and can get to the rim, so he could find a niche. Jayden Quaintance is a likely first round pick, and possibly goes in the top 20.
He is a great rebounder and rim protector, though his offensive game needs polish. He will need to use the combine to show his knee is healthy. Malachi Moreno is currently projected as a second round pick.
