Rock, paper, scissors showdown ends with Paige Bueckers giving fan signed sneakers
A fan challenged Paige Bueckers to rock, paper, scissors and won. The prize? Bueckers' game-worn shoes.
Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers is a person of her word. On Thursday, ahead of a preseason matchup with the Indiana Fever , Bueckers went out to sign autographs for fans. That's a fairly standard practice for the Wings star, but one fan upped the ante.
The fan held up a homemade sign in Bueckers' direction, which said, "Rock, paper, scissors (for basketball) shoes. " Bueckers obliged, going through a brief battle with the fan. After the fan beat Bueckers, the Dallas guard said, "You can have them," before smiling and quickly walking away to sign more autographs.
