Cincinnati comes up in 2029 NFL draft host city report
Is Cincinnati hosting an NFL draft soon? A new report sheds light.
The Cincinnati Bengals are a hot commodity right now and the city itself might be soon in the eyes of the NFL, too. Let a new report tell it, Cincinnati is in the race to host the 2029 NFL draft. According to Ben Fischer of Sports Business Journal, Cincinnati has the โinside trackโ to hosting the 2029 NFL draft.
There have been rumblings for a while now that the NFL will announce draft locations farther into the future than usual. Right now, Minnesota is the frontrunner for the 2028 draft. Washington gets the 2027 draft.
Back in May of 2025, a report said the Bengals had expressed interest in hosting a draft in 2028 or 2029. It was originally 2027, but pushed back due to construction of a new hotel near the convention center. Once Minnesota officially gets the 2028 draft, Cincinnati might be one step closer to the 2029 event, though itโs hard to say when the NFL would officially award it and make things official.
