When asked directly about reported interest from Real Madrid, Mourinho was unequivocal: “No one from Real Madrid has spoken to me.
I have one more year on my contract with Benfica. ” He doubled down on that stance when pressed further, emphasizing both his experience in the game and his familiarity with ongoing media speculation: “No, nobody from Real Madrid has spoken to me, I can guarantee you that. I’ve been in football for too many years, just like you in journalism, and we’re used to these things, but nothing from Real Madrid.
” Mourinho maintained a consistent message throughout the exchange, declining to elaborate beyond what he had already stated: “I can’t say anything more. As far as Real Madrid is concerned, nothing, and as far as Benfica is concerned, they already know the situation. I have one more year left on my contract with Benfica, and that’s it.
