P.J. Walker, notable for starting games for the Browns during the 2023 season, has called it an NFL career after nine seasons.

While P. J. Walker's time with the Cleveland Browns was short-lived, he did have some memorable moments with the team.

And now, the former starting quarterback of the Browns has called it an NFL career , retiring after nine seasons. Starting his career with the Indianapolis Colts , Walker signed there as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He hung around on the team's practice squad for two seasons before being waived at the end of camp in 2019.

From there, he went to the XFL, suiting up for the Houston Roughnecks as the starting quarterback in 2020. After the XFL folded, Walker then inked a deal with the Carolina Panthers , where he even started games during his time there, notably getting the starting nod after the benching of Baker Mayfield in 2022. He then signed with the Chicago Bears in 2023, but did not make the final roster.

That is when he signed with the Browns to their practice squad at the end of training camp. He then bounced around to the Seattle Seahawks before playing in the CFL for two seasons. He has now called it a career.
