Brian Fluharty-Imagn Images BOSTON – It’s May, and the Boston Bruins are still playing hockey. They will take on the Buffalo Sabres tonight in Game 6 of the first round. A win forces Game 7 on Sunday, time TBD.

They will be without a top-six forward for the second straight game, but Marco Sturm continued with the lines that ended Game 5 at practice yesterday. In other Bruins news, some of the Bruins AGMs are catching attention in open front office spots throughout the league, and the P-Bruins start their playoff run today. Elsewhere around the league, two teams moved on to the second round, both posting 5-2 home wins in Game 6 last night.

There is also a second Round 2 matchup confirmed, and now we know the start date for the second round. The Seattle Kraken are also losing an assistant coach; she will explore other opportunities in the league.
