It is understood that Jones did not push for the move at the time. With Jones only having a year left on his deal, a cut-price move makes a lot of sense for Inter Milan, although if other Premier League clubs are also interested, it kinda seems difficult for them to pull off. A recent Paul Joyce report stated that Jones’ “preference would be to stay at Liverpool if he could be the main man.
