Gasperini monitors three Fiorentina players Roma will play their 35th Serie A matchday on Monday, at home to a nearly sold-out Stadio Olimpico against Fiorentina. Vanoli’s squad includes several players who could be of interest to Gasperini for next season. The names, as reported by La Nazione , are three: Dodô, Gudmundsson, and Fortini.
The latter is doubtful for the trip to Rome and will only join the team after receiving medical approval. However, the 2006-born player is certainly one of the talents Gasperini highly values, and he may press the management again for him ahead of next season. Dodô and Gudmundsson, however, will be playing at the Stadio Olimpico.
Both have been targeted by Roma, which is looking to raise its profile and close the gap with the league’s top clubs. The Brazilian full-back is certainly a player Gasperini would be happy to coach and hand over the right flank to. His contract with Fiorentina expires, and there are no positive feelings about a possible renewal.
This is why Roma is closely monitoring the situation. Gudmundsson, on the other hand, has a contract with Fiorentina until 2029. His value is around €15-20 million.
