Titans add long-time Falcons scout to scouting department

On a day full of signings, the Tennessee Titans added another experienced scout to the staff.

Just days after a front office shake-up in Atlanta that saw them restructure a large portion of their scouting staff, one of those, Shepley Heard, quickly landed on his feet in Nashville and was added to their scouting department. Heard brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Titans after spending over 21 years within the Falcons organization, where he worked in multiple roles during his tenure, rising from part-time scout to a stretch as the Falconsโ€™ director of pro personnel. Heard is a football guy.

Moving from high school quarterback to college safety, before making the switch to high school coaching in 2002. He followed that by joining the staff at Texas A&M as a video assistant, then worked his way up to assistant defensive line coach. Former #Falcons scout Shepley Heard has a new home quickly.

Most importantly, this is an addition as an area scout, not a replacement, which should give the organization even more reach as they begin early preparations for the 2027 NFL Draft. This article originally appeared on Titans Wire: Tennessee Titans add long-time Falcons scout to scouting department
