Kyle Schwarber Reaches Major Career Milestone in Phillies Win
Philadelphia Phillies Kyle Schwarber continues to solidify himself as one of the best home run hitters in MLB history.
The Philadelphia Phillies tested out a graphic earlier on Thursday morning at Citi Field: “350 Schwarbombs,” the banner on the screen read. The graphic was just in case Kyle Schwarber reached a massive career milestone in one of the Phillies’ two games against the San Francisco Giants later that day, and it’s a good thing the stadium did test the design, because during his first at-bat, Schwarber did just that. The Phillies' designated hitter blasted a solo home run off Logan Webb just 10 pitches into the game, officially helping Schwarber reach this impressive career milestone.
Schwarber is far from the first player to join the 350-homer club, but he is one of the quickest to do so in MLB history. It took the Phillies slugger 1,321 games to get to this mark, which is the seventh fewest number of games to reach that mark. New York Yankees Aaron Judge is still the fastest, as he has hit 350 homers in 1,088 games.
Kyle Schwarber's 350th career homer (10) | 04/30/2026 Kyle Schwarber takes this one deep to right field for his 10th homer of the year and 350th of his career to get the Phillies on the board Schwarber’s next big milestone to hit will be his 400th career home run, which, if he continues at the same pace, could come early next season. The slugger already has 10 home runs on the year, and has hit 38 homers or more in the last four seasons. A year ago, Schwbarber slugged 56 homers.
Yes, the 33-year-old is starting to get up there in age, but he’s clearly still in the prime of his career. In terms of the game itself, Schwarber’s home run was critical in Philadelphia’s walk-off win over the Giants. San Francisco scored two runs in the top of the first inning, and Schwarber immediately helped the Phillies get one of those runs back.
