Sixers announce starting lineup for win-or-go-home Game 6 vs. Celtics
The Philadelphia 76ers announce their starting lineup for a win-or-go-home Game 6 against the Boston Celtics.
PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers will play host to the Boston Celtics in Game 6 on Thursday night in another win-or-go-home situation. The Sixers are looking to force a winner-take-all Game 7 back in Boston on Saturday if they can handle business at home against the Celtics. In terms of the starting lineups, the Sixers will roll out with the same starters they had in the previous two games of this series.
Joel Embiid will be joined by Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Paul George, and Kelly Oubre Jr. to begin this one. Philadelphia will continue to rely on the big fella to make a difference in the paint against Boston's weaker frontcourt.
If the Sixers can get a win in Game 6, they will give themselves a chance to finish off the Celtics at TD Garden. It is a place Philadelphia has won two times previously in this series so the Sixers will look to give themselves a chance.
