Rob Gronkowski makes admission on being drafted by Patriots
Rob Gronkowski admitted that the structure in New England created the best situation for him as a young prospect.
No NFL team was more ideal for Rob Gronkowski to play for than the New England Patriots. Gronkowski reflected on his time with the Patriots as being the best place for him to have landed in his career. โIโm super grateful.
Itโs the best situation that I could have possibly endured going to the New England Patriots ,โ Gronkowski said, via Patriots Wire's Sophie Weller . โI was even mad a couple of times getting passed on from a few other teams in the first round and early second round. But literally it all works out, and it was the organization I needed to be in, just a regime and just the schedule and how everythingโs run, what with coach Belichick and how the Patriots were doing.
โI needed that tight-knit scheduling. I needed to be nitpicked on and coached hard as well. And thatโs the exact reason why I felt like I was drafted into the Patriots organization.
โ Gronkowski was voted into the Patriots Hall of Fame on Wednesday. The four-time first-team All-Pro tight end thrived in a winning environment playing for former Patriots coach Bill Belichick from 2010-2018. Gronkowski helped the Patriots win three Super Bowls in his nine years with the team.
