He’ll also be getting a new jersey number.
Per the Steelers’ website and confirmed by beat writers, Wilson has switched from No. 10 to No. 14 ahead of OTAs.
No. 14 was previously Kenneth Gainwell’s Steelers number in 2025, and George Pickens’ before that. Wilson wore the number for the majority of his college career at Michigan, and now he gets it back.
Wilson, a third-round pick in 2024, recorded 12 catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns in 2025. He currently projects as the Steelers’ WR4 entering the 2026 NFL season. Let us know what you think in the comments .
