Pekin native named to Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame as part of loaded class
The Pekin native was a 1999 all-American golfer for the Illini, then won a three tournaments on the PGA Tour.
D. A. Points is heading to the Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame, the university announced on Thursday, April 30.
The Pekin native is one of eight new members set to be enshrined as part of the 10th Hall of Fame class . Illinois will be honoring these inductees at its Hall of Fame Gala on Friday, Sept. 11 at State Farm Center.
