Michigan basketball to face Duke in marquee matchup at Madison Square Garden

The Wolverines and Blue Devils are running it back.

For the second straight season, Michigan basketball will square off against Duke in a marquee nonconference game at a neutral site. The Wolverines will face the Blue Devils on Dec. 21 at New York’s Madison Square Garden during the 2026-27 campaign, the programs announced Thursday.

The matchup will be broadcast on Amazon’s Prime Video and is part of a three-game deal between Duke and the streaming service , which will also televise a Duke-Gonzaga contest on Feb. 20 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit . Last season, the Blue Devils handed the Wolverines one of their three losses, 68-63, in the nonconference finale at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.
