Patrick Mouratoglou dreams of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner in UTS

The Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) was co-founded by Mouratoglou back in 2020, and it stands out from the regular tour thanks to its unique scoring format and rule set. Since its inception, the UTS Tour has featured a number of big names, including Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, Alex de Minaur, and Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Auger-Aliassime recently won the latest event in Nimes. Alcaraz and Sinner haven’t appeared on the UTS Tour yet, but Mouratoglou seems keen to make that happen. “It’s my dream to have Carlos and Jannik participate,” Mouratoglou said. “I understand that when they play tournaments that are not ATP Tour tournaments their financial expectations are super high, because that’s their value and I don’t discuss it. “They are worth a lot so I think if one day they say ‘Okay, it looks fun’.

Because I think there is something about our format which is interesting for them. One week before a major tournament or Masters 1000 or whatever, it could be a great way for them to prepare before official matches. “I hope one day the conditions will make them feel like ‘Oh, I would like to play it’, it looks really cool, fun and I am also happy to play some real matches before that tournament.
