The Whitecaps’ lease of BC Place is set to end following the 2026 season, and with Garber having recently said the situation in Vancouver is “reaching a critical point,” via ESPN , it now seems a very real possibility that the team could be moved. On Monday, the Whitecaps released a statement addressing reports surrounding its future and a potential relocation, stating, “The club has faced well-documented structural challenges around stadium economics, venue access, and revenue limitations that have made it difficult to attract buyers committed to keeping the team in Vancouver.
