Indiana football offers 3-star 2027 in-state edge Ifeanyi Emedobi
Indiana football extended another scholarship offer in the state this week, to an edge rusher based in Fort Wayne.

Emedobi is rated as a 3-star prospect by both 247Sports and Rivals, with the former ranking him in as the 36th highest-rated edge rusher, 10th highest-rated player in the state of Indiana and 430th highest-rated prospect overall in its composite rating.
He attends Northrop High School in Fort Wayne and holds offers from Notre Dame and Cincinnati alongside fellow Big Ten programs in Penn State, Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland, Rutgers, Wisconsin and Nebraska. Indiana currently has four players committed in the class of 2027, though none along the defensive line. The program’s 2026 signing class was heavy along the defensive front.
However, the program has offered several defensive line prospects at edge and tackle in the class of 2027, with Emedobi being the latest to receive one. The Hoosiers’ line has been built mostly through the transfer portal, but the staff has emphasized high school recruiting in the long term. Join the conversation!
