Falcons UDFA class: Breaking down all 5 wide receivers
Falcons UDFA class: Examining Atlanta's 5 undrafted wide receivers
The Atlanta Falcons selected just one wide receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft, but since it was arguably their biggest positional need, they added several more undrafted prospects after Day 3 ended. The Falcons have signed 16 undrafted free agents thus far, including five total wide receivers. Obviously, all five receivers won't make the team, but there's a chance that one or two could sneak onto the 53-man roster if they play well in training camp.
While the team's UDFA class has yet to be formally announced, we thought it would be a good time to examine some of the reported signings. Here's a look at the five undrafted wide receivers that the Falcons have reportedly agreed to terms with. WR Vinny Anthony, Wisconsin 2025 Stats: 31 catches, 391 yards, 1 TD The 6-foot, 190-pound wideout had better numbers during his 2024 season (39 catches for 672 receiving yards and four touchdowns), which could be why he went undrafted.
The former Badgers wideout should add some competition in the slot while bringing some much-needed kick return ability (1,075 career kick return yards and one touchdown). According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Anthony was guaranteed $265,000 to sign with the Falcons. WR Malik Rutherford, Georgia Tech 2025 Stats: 46 catches, 523 yards, 3 TD Rutherford spent his entire collegiate career at Georgia Tech, recording 182 receptions for 2,014 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns over five seasons (2021-2025).
While he doesn't have a ton of experience as a return man, Rutherford returned a few kicks in college. At 5-foot-9, he projects as a slot receiver in the NFL. Last season, Rutherford recorded 46 catches for 523 yards and three touchdowns.
