[BBC] The winner of the 2026 World Snooker Championship will be awarded £500,000 in prize money. The half-a-million pound jackpot is the same prize for the overall winner as it has been since 2019, making it identical for an eighth straight year. The total prize pot for the tournament, which includes the three qualifying rounds, is £2,395,000 for a seventh consecutive year.

All players who qualified for the first round of the tournament receive a minimum of £20,000. There is also an additional £15,000 on offer to the player who records the highest break throughout the tournament. That includes the three qualifying rounds.

Should any player record a perfect break of 147, they will win £40,000 in prize money.
