Joel Embiid addresses gravity he creates within Sixers offense

Joel Embiid discusses the gravity he is able to create within the offense for the Philadelphia 76ers.

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers rely so much on Joel Embiid to be the center of the universe within their offensive ecosystem. The Sixers have been able to play off the big fella and allow him to create advantages for them. Gravity is a huge thing in today's NBA.

When a superstar is able to attract so much attention, like the way Embiid does, then it opens up so many opportunities for others. It then comes down to him to make the right decisions with the ball as he did in the Game 5 win over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. After starting 1-for-7, Embiid decided it was time to go inside and impose his will on the game.

Boston's big men trio of Neemias Queta, Nikola Vucevic, and Luka Garza is no match for Embiid when he gets aggressive. He is then able to make the right passes out to open shooters when the doubles inevitably come. "I think you gotta find the right mix," said Embiid.

"To start the game, it was a little bit more of outside than in, and in the second half, it was both. Then again, inside, I feel pretty good about my chances of going one-on-one against anybody in this league. I don't think I can be stopped.
