Craig Bellamy top of Burnley's wishlist Craig Bellamy is at the top of Burnley 's wishlist as the club look to replace Scott Parker for next season's Championship campaign. Parker brought Burnley up from the second tier in his first season at Turf Moor but his side found the Premier League tough and the team are now already relegated. According to BBC Sport 's Sami Mokbel, Bellamy is a 'serious candidate' for the role having already coached at the club during Vincent Kompany's time in charge.
Burnley would have to pay £700,000 for the Wales manager but it is not sure yet if the former forward would be open to joining the club. Alternatively, Steven Gerrard is also being considered as well as Cardiff City boss Brian Barry-Murphy . Meanwhile, the likes of Ole Gunnar Solskjær , Thomas Frank , and former Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior have been considered potential replacements for Parker.
