It’s beginning to look like a basketball team

These last two years have been a weird experience to say the least—the coaching changes, sure, but basically just having an entirely different dozen people wearing your school’s uniform from one year to the next to the next has been strange.
But we press on. Justin Gainey has at this point secured a pretty good starting lineup, assuming all of the guys who have announced commitments but have not yet signed end up doing so. Paul McNeil can change the dynamic for this team significantly if he decides to come back, but he is apparently being held at gunpoint in an undisclosed void both outside of time and within it, neither here nor there, neither now nor then, neither later nor before.
He’ll tell you eventually, if you’ve earned it. Right, so anyway, there is a decent roster coalescing at this point, though it’s only six-deep in quality for now. 1 – Preston Edmead / Hammond / Adams / Kingston Whitty 2 – Christian Hammond /Adams 3 – (Paul McNeil) / Darius Adams / RJ Keene 4 – Eemeli Yahalo / Keene / Mikey Wilkins 5 – Kyle Evans / Yahalo / Wilkins It’s a start.
I don’t know how this ends up sorting out, but at least we can talk about it at this point. At least there’s a good solid five guys who can do it, some of whom are tall.
