Nebraska softball player Jordy Frahm named candidate for award

Nebraska softball star Jordy Frahm was named to the Top 25 List for USA Softball’s Collegiate Player of the Year. The Nebraska native was recently named Softball America's No. 1 two-way player heading into the month of May.

Frahm is having a dominant season as a two-way player. She is hitting . 423 with 17 home runs, 45 RBI with .

879 slugging percentage. As a pitcher, she is 15-4 with a 1. 30 ERA.

She also has nine saves and has struck out 174 batters in 129. 2 innings pitched. Frahm is one of four Big Ten players on the list, along with UCLA’s Megan Grant and Jordan Woolery and Purdue’s Moriah Polar.
